Rhonda is the loving mother of six children, ages 1-18. She graduated from Greeley Central High School, and studied Cosmetology at Rocky Mountain Beauty College. Rhonda was not looking for a job when she was hired at Herbies—she was helping her sister look for a job and was offered a job. Rhonda says that her job here was a blessing from God; this is where she began to really develop her relationship with Jesus, and it also helped her to learn a lot about money management. Rhonda now volunteers at the Catholic Charities Guadalupe Center in Greeley. She is also extremely thankful for the freedoms we are afforded in the U.S. and would like to voice her support for her brother-in-law as he returns for his third tour of duty with the U.S. Army.

December is a busy month and the days just seem to get shorter and shorter. My youngest son just turned 2 yesterday and we had a little party at Chuck E Cheese! With all the expenses of Christmas I am reminded of the people less fortunate than me, I want to say I am thankful to work for a great company that cares about the community, employees and most important GOD!! Thank you Herbies for all you have done for my family, me and our community!

It has been a great month here at Herbies! Wow the time is really flying. We have been so busy and getting ready for the new move. I can’t wait to be at our new location close to the mall! I’m really excited about our new staff member Reese Freeman that has joined me in the BDC. We look forward to continue to make calls and talk to all of our wonderful customers. He is living proof of miracles!
OUR GOOD LORD WORKS MIRACLES IF YOU JUST BELIEVE! I just got off the phone with the Childrens Hospital! If you just met me, and don’t know me, here is my story…. I have a son with seizures that has been flown to ICU and Childrens Hospital twice via Flight for Life and he is only two! I was told last July he would not live into his toddler years and he was diagnosed with some variety of “metabolic disorder”! The Children’s Hospital has been running endless tests to see what metabolic disorder he has. I just received more results about 5 min ago and they were NEGATIVE once again! Children’s Hospital just told me they do not know what to do anymore!!! His tests have been to some of the best hospitals in the nation including the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and Case Western Research in Cleveland. THANK YOU LORD FOR HEARING MY PRAYERS BUT ESPECIALLY FOR ANSWERING THEM! By the way, when they told me he was going to die we all prayed together as a family (my parents, children and in-laws). Two days later they came to us and said sorry the test were wrong! I still believe it was a miracle. Every test since then has been NEGATIVE!!!!!!

This weekend I watched the movie Fireproof with my kids. They were laughing at me as I sat crying while watching the movie. They asked “Who cries during this kind of movie?” Pretty funny, because by the end if it they were crying too! The script could have been written about my life or maybe even yours, but it gives me hope that “All things are possible with Christ.” Have a blessed day!
